Wharfedale Opus 2-2

Hello fellas,i purchased a pair of Wharfedale Opus 2-2 recently and im wondering if there are any users here that have them also..In the manual its saying to put them as Large in the AVR..but ,ive always learned to put them as small in the AVR should i listen to the manual and leave them as Large speaker??..Also,if anyone knows of a Opus 2 center channel for sale,im looking for 1 also..Thanks guys

Nice purchase and welcome to the forum.

I do not have the Opus line of towers. I have the EVO2 50 which has a similar driver configuration with the large dome mid-range. I have really enjoyed the Wharfedale speakers I have owned and feel they are a very good speaker for the money. My local Wharfedale dealer has gone out of business so I have not had a chance to hear the Opus 2 line at all.

I still set mine up as small and have set the crossovers to 60hz on mine. I have a couple of good size subs and I mostly watch movies so this works well for me.

Thanks highlander..,i know about all the xover and bass management..I was wondering if any other Opus 2-2 users run them as large as Wharfedale recommends..
