Hi,

I have a pair of Wharfedale Laser 40 bookshelf speakers from the 70s (ish) which were passed down to me from and aunt and are still going strong.

They're good sounding and plenty loud enough but they seem to lack in treble department. I read somewhere that damaged tweeter domes could possibly have some impact on the sound - the metal tweeter domes on my speakers have been pushed right in - probably by kids. Would replacing the tweeters help this problem any? and do the tweeter domes being in shape really make a noticable difference?

Many Thanks

Dan
