I'm picking up the tv this week and I've ordered DVI-D cables for it based on reading this REVIEW. Upon second glance I noticed the picture looks like it is a DVI-I connection.

"On the left we have a DVI-D input (1080p), 2 component inputs (1080p), and an HD15 (VGA) input"

"The right side features HDMI (1080p), a second DVI-D (1080p),
and the standard definition inputs in addition to audio outputs." -Taken from Review.

(Q)Is this really a DVI-D input? If not, will my DVI-D cable fit and work properly with the DVI-I input?

I found the answer to my question I think.

LINK

"If you have plugs that are DVI-D, they will accept a DVI-D or DVI-I cable. If you have plugs that are DVI-A, they will accept a DVI-A or DVI-I cable. If you have plugs that are DVI-I, they will accept any type of DVI cable.

If you have mistmatched plugs, such as DVI-D and DVI-I or DVI-A and DVI-I, you may use either a DVI-I cable or the cable that matches the other plug. For example, you may use a DVI-D cable on a DVI-I to DVI-D connection, but not a DVI-A cable.

Note: You may not mismatch a DVI-D and a DVI-A connection."

Mike,

I have both a HDMI to DVI-D and a DVI-D cable and they work without a problem. Hope you enjoy the TV. I have one and overall I am very happy. It is missing some color adjustments that my LG plasma has but it is much more quiet and I prefer the picture over the Plasma. Keep an eye out for sales this time of year. You should be able to find it for under $1500.
