Hi All,

I wanted to get you Guy's take on the Westinghouse LVM-37W3 37" LCD Monitor. The Folks at AVS Forum & HardOcp are all steamed up about it. I'm considering it as a do all solution (IE) Computer Monitor HDTV Monitor. I've been in the market for a semi large LCD for quite some time now. Looking over this Monitors Specs it would seem that it offers the most bang for the buck. Costco has it for an incredible price. http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11219653&whse=BC&topnav=&browse=&lang=en-US

In addition, here's the link to said Monitors home page http://www.westinghousedigital.com/details.aspx?itemnum=56

My brother has the earlier LVM-37W1 and is quite pleased with it. He uses it the way that you want to: PC and HDTV monitor. The off-axis viewing isn't great (but isn't horrible, either), but that's probably been improved as his is from two generations ago. The picture looked great to me when I saw it, and it works well with his Mac Mini. Hard to believe that he paid over $1500 for his when they were closing them out for the new models early last year (think it was last year), and now this one is $800. Good price, for sure.

By "steamed up," do you mean that they like it or hate it?

Hi All,

I mean that they LOVE this Monitor. Judging by all the post at those two sites & from what I've read as far as the Specs it seemed to offer the most bang for the buck.
