... I really wonder how he would have done if he were turned loose on the Batman franchise. Not the funky, colorful stuff that's been done so far but the darker Batman that started it all.

After all, Frank Miller wrote "Year One and "The Return of the Dark Knight", neither of which are too optimistic, and RR and he seem to have an artistic connection.

To say it would be amazing would be an understatement. If anyone could outdo Burton, it would mosdef be RR.

Lame trivia fact: According to Wired! magazine, the entire opening scene to Sin City was filmed and edited in one day in RR's personal HD digital editing studio. RR added all the visual and sound effects along with a musical score. It impressed Miller so much that he agreed on the spot.

Now that is kickass.
