Hey guys, My .mac account is up for renewal but I really don't know if I want to continue it. I only use the email and the space for hosting my own personal site. I think 100 bucks a year is a tad much for just that. It has other features I just don't use or need. Do you guys have any other suggestions? I just need 5 or so email accounts and space for my personal site. Also I have to be able to use any program to upload my site. I don't want to be locked into templates like with Google or Yahoo. I have looked at GoDaddy and it is half of Apples .mac account.

I use target domain for personal and business hosting. Basic hosting includes email and plenty of server space. It also includes database management (mysql, sql server, access) and web based FTP. We host a couple of our own business sites in house and will be switching to target domain completely.

I use the 1and1 "beginner" package. 48$ a year.

incls
1 domain + 25 sub domains
10 MySQL databases (100mb max)
Now it's unlimited bandwidth (though I'm sure they'll ***** slap you if you actually move much data)
600 e-mail accounts
FTP access (1 account)
10 gigs storage

They've been pretty good and never had a issue with transfer speeds at all. Use to run a forum on my account for some friends but anymore I just use it for storage and e-mail like you.
