<font color='#000080'>Audioholics has to eat some crow here, but we're not too big to admit when we're wrong. After testing nearly 20 cables for our Cable Face Off 2 article, we decided to actually
listen to some of the more expensive exotic cables. What we found was AMAZING. Some of the cables touting reduced skin effect
actually sounded much cleaner, with improved bass response and a wider sound stage. We were absolutely
amazed to find that other exotic cables were able to improve the frequency response of even poorly rated speakers.
Amazed by this, we continued to listen and could not believe our ears! Lifting some of the cables just inches off of the ground and isolating them with stands helped to dramatically improve high frequency and transient response by decoupling the signal from the static induced flooring material.
We want to apologize to our readers for all of the measurements and scientific approaches we have taken to address this issue. It turns out, our careful measurements meant nothing and we should have let our ears determine the truth long ago.
