It was entertaining, made good use of the sub and surrounds, story was cheesey at times, some of the effects were poor but all in all it kpet me entertained for an evening.

I just couldn't get over the fact that 40% of the movie involved crying. Pretty sure every major character cried at least once. Don't get me wrong I love a good drama, but this is F-ing Spiderman... not Beaches!!!!

OMG my youngest son and I watched it last night and that is exactly what he said. I could not believe it, super heros and villains crying and all teary eyed through half of the movie. They made this movie for 12 to 14 year old girls not comic book fans. What a load of junk it was. Glad I did not buy it.

HATED it. And I LOVED Spiderman 2. They trashed the franchise with this movie.
I agree, but the video and audio on Blu-ray blew me away! When the Sandman appears during the final fight, I thought my subwoofers were going to knock my house down.

I also objected to all the emotional histrionics, but they didn't ruin it for me. I enjoyed it, and will watch the next one.
