hay all i got 2 new main speakers klispch f3 but i think my reciver is a bit under power 4 them its a pioneer 816 130 by 7 i was thinkin about gettin a power amp 2 pump these bad girls up and wen i turn it up around -20 it cuts out and cums up with overload on the reciver any thoughts? cheers

Double check your speaker wire connections, and make sure your polarity is right and the leads aren't touching. It sounds to me like this could be the case. Also, are your speakers 4ohms?

nar mate there 8 ohm its al wired rite a bloke rekcons it could b a faulty crossover or a blown driver but im not sure it only does it wen u really turn it up so yeh cheers mate

Correct, if you find the speakers don't sound good to you with the present gear you have, the never will.;)

well i treated myself 2 a new receiver got the yamaha 1800 :)
