Is there a list of DVDs that make great use of all of the channels [at least the 5 basic in 5.1 ... Center, FL, FR, SL, SR] for the entire movie??? I esp. would like to see a list of titles that have a lot of surround effects but DON'T "shout down" the center channel.
Background: I adjusted my system "by ear" in my old apartment. I got a new house recently and I thought now's the time to do it better. So of course I got an el-cheapo meter and at least set the basic levels on my speakers instead of relying on "what sounded good by ear".
Now what I'm finding that I'm enjoying some of my discs much more while other discs I'm hating because the surround mix is over done and the center channel is too muted.
