Just thought I'd let you know to check Amazon. I just bought one new dcx2496 for $262 w/ free shipping. Check often, the price changes daily (sometimes twice a day). In the last two weeks it has varried from $254 to $326.

I wish my A500 had both channels no clue how to fix it and haven't had the time to pursue. But maybe I will take a look at it again and see if I can address the problem.
