Just take a moment to read this.

Hello Everyone,
Well the big day is approaching. Less than a week before the L.A. Rally. I don't mind saying that this is one of the make or break us events of our campaign. Low attendance means instant death of Enterprise for good. This has to be a major showing here so please bring your kids, wife, neighbor and anyone else you can.. We will have people filming there for the company that makes the DVD's for Star Trek Enterprise and the Rally will be on the DVD's.. I have also been told that ALOT of media will be there. I received an email stating that Conan O'Briens watch dog might show up.. Not sure if it was from a member or someone else.

Where:paramount Studios
5555 Melrose Ave
Los Angeles, CA

When: Feb 25th 9:am and running all day.
We plan on having various people speak throughout the day, so please plan on staying as long as you can.

Parking: Is Scarce from what I have been told. There is some employee parking from what I was told close by and they might be able to handle some cars for a fee. You can also park at the cemetary behind Paramount. Carpool might be a way to go if at all possible.

We have the LAPD permits, so everyone is ok there..

Signs: You can cut out the LA Times ad and bring it with you on posterboard. If you want be creative.. If not, please see the bottom of this email for some ideas. There are a few food places across the street and down the street. They have restrooms as well. You might want to purchase a drink or something so that it does not become a problem.. The SaveEnterprise and TrekUnited crew will be up by the main gates if at all possible. If not just look for the Saveenterprise banner. You can't miss us.

if you have any questions or problems. Please let me know.. 865.973.1073

If you are a member in a Sci-Fi club or Trek fan club, please encourage all your members to attend.. NO COSTUMES please. We are trying to show them that we ARE NOT the Trek fans they think we are. We don't live in basements and wear uniforms around the house. We are people that work, support our families and pay for the shows they put on. So please just dress casual.

Make sure you bring an Umbrella. Rains, sleet or hail this has to go on. I will post a map soon and list the url. In the mean time, please check the website for updates.

Thanks
Tim

A noble attempt, but misguided- that show sucks! :p No offense if you like it. I'm glad they're giving it the axe; it's unlikely there'll be a real 'Trek series while Enterprise is still on.

It's almost impossible to change a studio's mind once they set it, but perhaps this will be the exception.

Boston Legal is one of my favorites. I always thought that Kirk/Shatner was the worst actor ever.
He is excellent on there. They couldn't have found a better match for that part.

Is it too much to ask that just ONCE a Federation flag ship is not out gunned in a battle so badly they are virtually out of the fight before it gets started. How bout one time Enterprise # (whatever series you like) would show up to a fight and just blast the crap out of some aliens and show them who's boss?? Is that too much to ask that the human race is not the stepchild of the known universe?? But seriously Enterprise had some possibilites with Joleen Blalock but the stories kinda fell apart.

Amen to that. And I am sick of the shields either not working or being raised during a fight.

On the other hand, the Defiant kicked a lot of butt wouldn't you agree?

RE: Enterprise
I thought Seasons 3-4 were very good and better than the first season or two of Generations, Deep Space 9 and Voyager. I think people were too hard on Enterprise and thats why it died.

sorry, but even that's been done. Star Trek VI- The Undiscovered Country, the Enterprise and Excelsior took on ONE Klingon scout ship (I will give you that it was cloaked)

they ran out of ideas basically after the second season of Deep Space 9 and should have been happy being freaking filthy rich instead of clamoring for dirty rotten freaking filthy stinking rich... or maybe they just keep doing this so Rick Berman and his writers can all get new semi-supermodel wives every five years...

Let it die... even Rocky and Rambo finally gave up.

I was at the final episode of Voyager in the Star Trek Experience in the Vegas Hilton by accident of course work took me there so I took advantage of the opportunity. I thought the ideas for that series were pretty fresh through most of the series the Borg constant was always there for them but Enterprise is before all the really cool technology that came along later, so I can see they would run out of ideas pretty quick. I have been a fan of most of them except Deep Space 9 and Overwhelmingly We (us humans) are out gunned out cloaked too slow behind in technology unable to determine whatever from lame sensors etc. Even the alien freight haulers had the ability to penetrate the defenses of most of out ships pleeeezzee give me a break. I agree that Star Trek might be over done but If they could have been going ahead instead of behind that opens up so much more for story lines. How bout 7of9 and Data (who they made such a point of being fully functional) get together and make a super race that wipes out the Borg and has super emotions...LOL anyone?? hello??

I always said they should come out with a Star Trek Playboy series, I mean come on, 6 of 9 (opps I mean 7 of 9), Ta-pul, Yar, Counselor Troy, Dax, etc :)

The battle scenes of DS9 are unmatched IMO, as is the dialog of Sisko during war situations, Garak, etc. Voyager / Borg conflicts also awesome. Generations - ok when not dealing with family issues, political correctness and Counselor Troys mental assessment of the crew. I have a feeling we are at the end of the Star Trek franchise. I think its time to get a tissue :( I will miss the premise of these shows and simply can't get into any other scifi stuff other than the Star Wars movies.

Personally, I hate the Enterprise series, the DS9 series and every other series other than TNG, or the origional.

I have seen Star Trek (the original series) and Star Trek:The Next Generation almost entirely.

I have to say those are my two favorite series of Star Trek. I have seen some of Deep Space 9 and Voyageur and I'm sure Enterprise is also good but I think it's time to close the book. How more times do we need to see a phaser fight?

Why can't the us (humans) be the invading entity? We're on our way of destroying our own freakin' planet pretty efficiently I might add, it seems to be the next logical step in producing a SCI-FI show where we are about to destroy our planet and we have to go looking to colonize a new world for survival.

It's time that tv studios comes out with some truly new material, instead of relying on past acomplishments to stay in their 'safety zone' of success.

Good Luck anyways.

The franchise peaked with the DS9 epsiode where they went back to the tribbles. That is as classic as it gets (Terry Farrel in a yeoman's uniform didn't hurt, either).
