I'm going to be placing an order for paradigm ADP-370s. I expect to wall mount them and run cables behind sheetrock down to the basement. One will be on an outside wall, the other is an interior. I'm quite handy but I want to know what to expect. I think these come with some kind of mounting hardware. Can anyone on share some insight? Is the hardware sturdy enough or is it wise to use some extra reinforcement?

The hardware that comes with is sturdy and it can be used with or without a stud. Both of mine or mounted only into the drywall and they have been firmly in place for a year and a half now. I do routinely take them down to make sure my hardware is still firmly secured and yep, they always are. You will get a template to mark out exactly how much drywall you need to cut out but I needed to do a little extra trimming to clear the bannana plugs. If you are using bare wire it will be no problem but the bannana plugs can take a little extra manouvering and maybe even a swear word or two. If you do not like the anchors that come with the bracket you can use some long screws. Just put a block of wood (as big and as thick as you can put through the hole) and screw through the bracket and drywall and securely into the block of wood. I also have an interior and exterior wall and on my interior wall I used the block of wood trick. It makes it more sturdier, at least to me. Enjoy those ADP 370's.

Good deal. I appreciate the information. If things go to according to plan I'll have my speakers by the end of the week.
