VSX-32 Issue

Hey Everyone,

First time poster, new to home theater as well.

I have a VSX-32 hooked up to 4 Polk Audio towers / 1 Center / 1 Subwoofer

My issue is that when I use FM Radio or try to play music off my laptop via red/white audio cable on the CD channel, the subwoofer does not output any sound and my tower's sound completely alters. I know when I first hooked up these speakers, the radio did utilize the subwoofer. I'm not sure what changed.

I did do the Advanced MCACC setup recently.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having exactly the same issue. Did you ever resolve the subwoffer problem?

did you check in the receiver's setup menu to insure the subwoofer (LFE channel) was used all the time, and not just when a digital 5.1 input was in use ?
