This may be a really dumb question, but I was just curious. Is there a difference between the Pioneer models VSX-1015TX and VSX-1015TXK? I have seen some places with the added K on the end of the model #, but most without it. I was just wondering what the difference was, if any? Thanks in Advance!

Kinda curious about that one my self, I'm kind of leaning toward this receiver b/c of all the great reviews its been getting would be nice to know if there is a difference. What about the K meaning Black? Ive seen that on some model designations before

Vendors confused?

From everything I found when researching this Receiver on the web, I'd say the vendors are confused. They seem to add this on the end due to that being a normal designation for the standard receiver line. It does indeed stand for black and S is for the silver models. The VSX-1015TX is only available in black so perhaps Pioneer dropped the K from the model for that reason. My advice is get the best price you can from a authorized dealer. If they mis-label it with a K it won't effect what you are getting.

My box has the K. However when you receive the receiver, it will not have the K on it (VSX-1015tx). I am agreeing with above poster, on the wrongful labeling. They are all black from what I know...
