So how do I get my audio to work with my subwoofer... the turntable in particular? It was impossible to get it going....

Heh, heh, I have a JVC QL-Y5F purchased in '82. It's in a box somewhere. If your bass management is set up properly and you use anything other than a "direct" mode, as long as the bass frequencies are present your sub should be producing sound.

Got it sorted. There are two different subwoofer outs on the back of the receiver. I switched it to another jack and it's fine! Hurray!

BTW - it's a beautiful turntable, why not dig it out....

Turntable.

Yep, the "Sub Out", which is the RCA jack for the subwoofer output on the back of your VSX-03TXH, from the "Preout".
The other one is the "Sub In" from the multichannel input (Multi In), not the one needed in your case.

"A beautiful turntable", for sure, install it and take pleasure to her sound with your vinyls.
