Speakers
Amplifiers (Receiver and or Pre/pro)

For me it would be the turntable. Although mine is just a plane jane in teh looks department comapred to the more esoteric high $$ tables, I'm amazed at how good music sounds on this.

I'm going to say the Integra. It has a nicely contoured faceplate that catches the light differently than my other black components.

I voted for speakers, only since subwoofer wasn't an option... I find my PB-13 Ultra in piano black to be very gorgeous.

It's ok... my Def Tech towers are tall, dark, and handsome, I like the way they look too... nice and slim and packed with performance.

To me the speakers feel like cornerstones of the whole system, like they are holding everything between them together in a classy, understated way.

The rest of my stuff feels a little industrial (although my Sony XBR with the glass frame surrounding the TV is very nice).

I don't have separates, but I really do like the look of a paired pre/pro and amp. Not sure if my opinion will change if I eventually go that route.

I think my Rotel is the beautiful part of my system.

I know what you mean. I have the exact same sub! But technically a sub is a speaker, so you voted correctly! :D

When I had an Acurus A250 sitting by each of my Canton towers, with the Canare 4S11 cable covered in red tech flex and yellow shrink tube snaking seductively to each of The Two Towers........it was pretty damn sexy. I think the hottest gear I've seen would be Classe........the curves are just full out seductive...........
With that said........Speakers. The first time I set up my Canton L800DC's and ran a bass heavy track...........I closed my eyes and just listened. The first 6 months that they were in my rig I would walk by and feel like hugging them.........I'm not joking here. I'd never heard that kind of power and fidelity and the silver lacquer looked smokin' hot. I've kind of grown out of the silver now..........and sort of wish I had some nice veneer. I like maple and beech......light woods.
It was always the speakers.............the prettiest wood ones I've owned were the JBL L65 Jubals- real furniture. God, I love this hobby. David of the Two Trees

amps

Everything is pretty conventional, except for the tube amps. They get the most attention from strangers.

Speakers would be for me. Hard to hide them, except in a pro theater built just for that, but you can certainly minimize the appearance of components, except that TT you mentioned since most likely it doesn't have a remote for it:D
Components can be in a cabinet, like mine, and you don't really notice or see them except when you start it up, after that, all you see is the speakers.

I voted speakers. I think my Yamaha receiver has a nice look too but I really like the look of my speakers with the black aluminum drivers/phase plug and the cherry veneer. I also love a monster sub and I applied cherry veneer with a satin finish to that as well. I need to redo the veneer on my mains because I did not know what I was doing when I originally applied it. I would love a piano gloss on the cherry but I don't think I have the patience to do it properly. :)

beauty

it depends on what you have and what you're into. personally, some of the really exotic turntables are, to me, the most beautiful components. Clearaudio makes some dramatic looking ones that seem to be as much of a visual experience as listening to the LP...then again, the glow of a set of tubes is a bit romantic...that being said, but turntable is a bit plain-jane and I have a solid state receiver---none of it is pretty, but it works!
