Vinylphiles...opinions on Rega Planer 2

My buddy has a Rega planer 2 with a rega arm. It's for sale. The unit is in great condition. I don't know how many hours are on the cartridge.

Does anyone have experience with this TT? Can someone find a write-up or general overview of the table online?

I have a friend with a Rega P3 and it looks nearly identical to the Planer 2. He's very happy with the P3 and I'm amazed by the vinyl too.

What is an old Planer 2 in great shape with an arm and cartridge worth?

I own a P3 as well and LOVE it. As far as I know Rega's entire line is nothing but quality. I'd ask for a trial, hooked up to your system before deciding on the purchase though, if possible.
