Need somehelp with vintage Rek-O-Kut L-34 with noisy idler wheels, possible motor, and speaker hum. Unit 50 years old and I've heard these rim drive classics can be modded with great results. First, I need to get rid of noise/hum. Can feel vibration on plinth and tonearm. What DIY tweaks can I try to eliminate this problem before concidering have idlers replaced or refurbished.
