Hey all. My old receiver which sounded amazing when paired up with the speakers that came with them when my dad bought in the 70s died.

Everything worked fine before and all the switches still work, and everything lights up. But you know when you turn on most receivers and you hear a "click" after it warms up after powering on, mine no longer does that and as a result there's no sound from it. Any ideas?

I used it to DJ a small house party and it overheated. Now it's no longer working :'(

Sorry for bad pics, they're old.

This is not something you will fix unless you are a tech with service equipment. Your options are to get it serviced, or buy a similar product on eBay. Old receivers seem to come up all the time.

Heat kills- that's the reason for the cooling slots on the top and bottom. If it's cranked for a long time, even convection won't do the job- it should have had a fan blowing on it.
