Folks,
In a recent thread I mentioned that I wanted to show off my Dad's old LaFayette LR-75 solid state stereo receiver that he still uses, as well as an old Panasonic SA-505 quadrophonic stereo receiver that I got when I was a kid.

Here is the LaFayette LR-75:

It is apparently from 1971 according to this site:

Here is the Panasonic SA-505 44 series Quadrophonic stereo receiver:

I am not sure what year it is from. I got it from an aging neighbor when I was in middle school while he was getting rid of some of his old stuff. He even gave me the 4 speakers that went with it along with the quadrophonic turntable that came with it. I unfortunately don't have a picture of it however, seeing that I am in California, and these receivers are still in my parents house in Boston. I had my brother take the pictures, so sorry for the poor quality of the pics. But they should be good enough to show the basics.

For the LaFayette receiver, my dad still uses it. He has his 5 disc cd changer hooked up to it. I think he even has his DVD player on it too.

I used to have my old Sony D-11 Discman attached to my Panny:

Picture found via e-bay somewhere... I also had my tape deck (some el cheapo dual tape boombox) attached to it as well. The lights on the front were really neat. They were really bright, green, and red and white. I had one speaker on each of the four walls in my room. It actually used to sound very good, even with the old speakers that came with it. I used to turn up the first song on Bon Jovi - New Jersey, Lay your hands on me, and crank up each volume slider and I could easily shake the walls (though in that house, it wasn't hard to do that! )

So what do you guys think? Do any of you have one of these, or know anyone who does?
