vintage CANTON Monitor Speakers - INFO

Hello Group,
I am new to the board. Great resource.

I have a vintage pair of CANTON loud speakers.

Speakers were my Dad's that he bought new back in the late 70's or early 80's (I was very young back then). He passed them on to me where I have not used them in many years. They have been in storage and have not been powered up since. They works quite well not only 4 years ago. These speakers have a beautiful and heavy clear coating that is very durable. The cabinets are solid mohangany wood. They work great and are in beautiful condition. They are retro-big as far as size goes and they would also make a great visual addition to a large space.

As I have no room for them, I am looking for advice on what they may be worth as I will probably sell them locally (Orlando, FL). I need to get the speaker model next time I am at the storage facility. I thought that I would post this and see if there are any folks that may know about these.

I do not want to oversell or undersell them to a potential buyer.

I can email a link to those that may be interested in viewing these speakers.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Just read your post. I had a set of Canton speakers that I really liked. I can't remember the model# but the way you describe them I think they were the ones you have. I'd like to get another set if you still have them for sale. You can call me. Doug, at 412-983-4533. In case you no longer have them and anyone else reading this knows of a pair for sale please let me know.
