Vintage Avid Speakers ??

Was checking out my local thrift store and came across a pair of AVID G770413 - o6/27/77 was stamped on the warranty paper on the back of one. Seems I might of heard of them, as it is my "time period". Anyone know much about them?
Specs? The seemed in good condition. They were 2 way. They can be purchased for $39. I don't need them, but if the are some rare gems

I didn't buy them [ and I sure as heck don't need them ], was mostly wondering if a return trip was needed.
