You are viewing a classic pair of JBL control monitors. I'm the second owner and as far as I know these are all original. Other than the bottoms of the cabinets, that are pretty scratched up from moving for 40 years, the rest of the cabinets are relatively clean. The largest mark (by far) on either is shown in a picture....it's a chip on the lower left side. Also one has a stain, evidentally from having a plant on it at one point. I've wiped it down good and rubbed some lemon oil into it. It's pretty smooth to the touch, but just discolored.
Functionally they are perfect with one minor exception. The pots on the Brilliance and Presence settings could probably use a cleaning. It's apparent they were likely left in the same position all of their lives. Other than that, everything is great, and they sound wonderful as you'd expect. These are built like a tank....much smaller than say a pair of Klipsch Heresy's, but probably equally as heavy. Serial numbers 53065 and 53276.
I'm having a hard time finding any specifications on the internet, so if anyone has any links that would be helpful, please feel free to send me a note. I was able to find a bit of info on pricing, and I think I've put these up at a price (considering their condition) that is very fair. Chances are if you are looking at this, you know all you need to know about them.
