I've recently purchased and installed a Onkyo TX-NR609 as the audio system for my computer.
It's connected via the HDMI-to-HDMI port on the A/V Unit and my Geforce GTX 570's HDMI port.
The monitor in use is a HP w2207h set at it's native resolution of 1680x1050, also using its HDMI port.
However, the issue is that the image displayed to the screen is shifted up by ~3mm (yes, I measured
). As this is a digital signal the options of Vertical and Horizontal adjustment in the monitor's menu are disabled.
Is this issue caused by the fact it's not a full HD (192x
1080 (seems like 3mm would equate to 30pixels)) monitor? Or is there something I need to adjust on the A/V Unit, which is set to 'Through' for the HDMI settings?
Not a huge deal, and I'll continue to use the HDMI as for the Audio and Visual source, but it would be nice to know what's up.
