vga to s-video pinout????

Hi there, i have a laptop and want to connect it to my tv. The laptop only has vga output and the tv does not have vga but does have s-video and seeing i have the connectors for both i wanted to know if there was a straight pinout i can do to get this to work as a converter is not worth paying for. I also have cat5e cable too. Any help would be great thanks

I don't think you can do a straight pinout since S-video is composite and VGA is component. You can buy an adapter for less than $4 from Monoprice, however.
