Get a All In Wonder ATI card for your computer. You can input and output just about any signal with very good to great results. Including component RGB, DVI, Composite and S-Video. The bare minimum to get is a ATI AIW 9600XT, Better would be a ATI AIW 9800 Pro, Best would be a ATI AIW X 800XT. The cost for each is about 179, 198, 330. And they will all do what you want and with better than normal results. They all have component blocks for inputs and outputs, and all will accept and send the signals I put above. There are also pluses with these, the 9600 and X800 will also do fm radio signals, and they all will also connect to a coax cable to watch tv over the pc if wanted. And a simple program included will also download for a weekly tv program chart. (Just like a tv guide) Plus they all have a remote control, that can be used for various functions. Including but not limited to MP3 players, DVD players, Windows Media Player, etc... The remotes are RF, which means they can be used through walls. The X800 has dual DVI, the 9600 and 9800 I believe have single DVI with a vga connector/adapter. All three cards are up to date with EVERY single computer game out there, and will play them all fine. With inputs, yes you can use your X-Box or PS.
You can record or pause live tv, or a vcr signal. Also they support all resolutions that are known to man. Any more questions on any of these, please don't hesitate to ask. I have had 2 of the 3. And plan on getting the third.
