Very Cheap Receiver?

Hi. I'm looking for a receiver to power the very low budgeted audio system I'm planning. The rest of the system is looking to be 2 pairs of Polk R15s ($100 total), a Polk CSi25 Center channel ($70), and a Dayton 10" sub ($100).

I've heard one suggestion, the Onkyo TXSR304, for $110 http://www.accessories4less.com/cgi-bin/item/ONKTXSR304S
Is that one of the best for around $100? I know that $100 can't get you much, but are there any other suggestions? Thanks!

You're right $100 bucks is a pretty tough budget to sat the least.
You may give Ubid.com or, dare I say it, Ebay a try. Even then I suspect you may need to extend you budget a bit more.
Polk speakers BTW or not always the friendliest to low power receivers. If you don't play at extreme volumes, Primarily speaking in musical terms, you should be OK.

I bought a Yamaha 5450 on Ebay 4 years ago for 175. It worked out pretty well for me. I'm in the market for something new because i want to power more speakers. So I suggest you try EBay, or buy mine:)

I don't see how you can go wrong with the entry-level Onkyo for $100 if it has enough inputs for your other components.

All Onkyo models are similar except the lower priced models just strip out features of the higher models and every year they migrate features from the higher models down to the lower models. The 304 is their solution for people who only need 5.1 and very few inputs. Sounds about right for what you need.

For the price, I'd say AC4L is a safe bet. I've bought plenty of stuff from them without issue.
