Just an update. It's been about a week since I added a cpu fan over my Denon 3805 and it's working perfectly. With the glass door shut, it can't be heard. It's hooked up directly to the switched outlet in the rear of the receiver. That way I don't forget to turn it off. The amp never gets hot - only warm. Many thanks to those who offered their advice.
