VELODYNE SUB and DENON 1905

Okay...This is a real dumb question. I am hooking up my system and on the VELODYNE SUB, the sub came with a red and white cable, which runs into a single black cable. However, on my DENON 1905, the area for connection has SUB marker below a red input and above a white input that says CENTER. Do I only hook up to the red, or on the DENON, do I hook it up to the white and red, which means I need to buy a new cable.

I can not find this information in either book.

Thanks

I think you actually want to turn the wire around. Based on the information you giave, you want to put the black end into the receiver where it says SUB and put the red and white wires into the left and right inputs on the subwoofer. It's called a splitter cable and gives you a little bit better response from the sub. :)

That is what I meant when I typed...I just was not sure if I needed to buy a new cable (red and white), to match the sub outlets.

Thanks.
