I have looked at quite a few and size requirement's have been considered. These are the 2 it's down to at the moment. I have no way of listening to either. Anyone have experience with either ? I like the custom color department from Axiom. I listen to everything from TOOL to Sinatra. Primarily for movies but it has to play music flawless as well. Any opinion's ? Thanks a bunch.

It is 18x17 with 10ft. ceiling's and a 6x6 foyer going to front door behind LF Main spkr. I have a kitchen table in the next room via a 8x8 wide open doorway. As for price, the Velo is from $1199-$1435 or so. The Axiom custom wood to match my Antique dark stained wall piece is around $1700. Or OEM finish is $1230. One is 12 " driver the other a 15".

I'd go for the Axiom. your room is considered large already not counting the opening to other areas. plus your main use is movies, in a much smaller room, I'd say it was a toss up, but in a big room, the axiom will go lower and louder than the velo.
