Velodyne Satellites

The Velodyne CT-41 satellites are on deep discount for $160.00 (U.S.). I've never heard them in person, the sale is at their website. Has anyone heard them? Are they considered "bright". I will be adding them to some Boston Acoustic bookshelf speakers and a Polk Subwoofer. My receiver situation is still in flux.

that's not a real problem for most people, if he's only using them for surrounds. you're actually better off in home theatre having only a decent mid-range and tweeter, since those are the sounds humans pick up best for movement.

if he's doing alot of multichannel SACD or DVD-audio, it could be a problem.
