The MIC-5 provides a multi-location EQ solution designed to integrate with the bass management room EQ capabilities found in the Velodyne Digital Drive (DD) series, SPL-R series and Subwoofer Management System (SMS-1). Typically, bass management systems with a single microphone optimize bass response for a single position in a room. Sometimes the one microphone is moved manually from location to location in an attempt to optimize multiple listening positions. With the MIC-5, bass response can be optimized for up to five positions in a room.
