Vandersteen Model 2

Hi,

I have a friend who is liquidating his father's "stuff" and has a pair of Vandersteen Model 2 speakers. They look to be in pretty good condition.

Does anyone know what they might be worth and the best way to sell them?

There are 2 pair of jacks on the back, one pair for tweeters and one pair for mid-range.

Could they be used with a newer amp like a yamaha that has only one pair to each speaker?

I'd like to help him out & your help is much appreciated.
