Using composite cables for 6 channel audio

I'm using 2 of the cables used for the composite connections, (the red white & yellow wires), to connect the 6 audio channels. I'm assuming the video, (yellow), wire is no different than the 2 audio wires.

Is that true?

and

Will that work any different than buying cables specific for 6 channel?

Question 2

Are component cables, (blue, green, & red), any different than the composite ones?

Thanks

For audio connections, you are correct, they are essentially the same, use it.
part 2, no difference. They are both video cables.

What? Are ya color blind?

Since I just registered I thought I'd say hello Mtry. It's good to see that people are still being well advised.
