Using component cable for SPDIF audio.

How do you guys know the Ohms of variuous types of cables? I'm wondering if I can use one strand of a component cable for SPDIF audio.I had ordered a 25' component and a 25' coax... unfortunately, they delivered 2 25' components. Instead of dealing with the hassle of a return, i'm thinking about using the component cable as 3 separate audio coax SPDIF cables. Will that work?

Thanks in advance.

If memory serves correctly, SPDIF is a 75 Ohm cable, so yes, Component video cable (assuming it's made correctly for 75 Ohm impedance) will work fine.

Edit, just checked, and yes it's a 75 Ohm cable.
