i have an older pioneer vsx-d554,,,reciver,can anyone tell me how to find a users guide,,,,download or paper back,,,thanks

Okay, I've found it for about $7 at the link here. It lists the owner's manual for the VSX-D557 as the manual for the VSX-D554. Pioneer's website doesn't have that one listed, but I'll see if I can find one for free.

I'm not having a lot of luck. I'd suggest checking out Pioneer's list of older receivers located here. Some of those have downloadable manuals, some don't. You might find a model similar to yours that will help you with what you are trying to find.

Are there particular features that you are trying to understand?
