I would buy a $2,000 flashlight before I would buy, or recommend, a Runco... Period.
You can search my rants elsewhere, but with $2,000 you have some very solid options in the world of 1080p including the Epson 8700UB and the Panasonic AE4000.
The Panasonic AE7000 was just announced for September release and may be about $2,500, though street price is still not known. Panasonic traditionally has one of the best deliveries in home theater projectors for the money, but they are a bit outdated with their AE4000 and the Epson 8700UB is a bit better right now.
Just avoid Runco, you'll pay $2,000 to get it repaired and a new lamp in it within a year or two.
