I'd appreciate some recommendations on a 1080p projector new or old under $1,000. Light controlled room for movies. No gaming.

I can see where the new laser models may be great....not sure about laser dazzle. I'm looking for a projector to hold me over for just a few years until (hopefully) the 4k laser prices come down some more.
