Used HK avr630 or new avr340?

I have the Def Tech Pro Cinema 800 series...and for about 400 and change I can either get a brand new avr340 or a used avr630. Someone was telling me it doesnt take much power to power up the def tech's and that a 340 would probably do. This is my first AVR so I wanted to see what some of you would recommend to buy.

Im leaning towards the NEW avr340 just because I feel safer (all equipment new, warranty)

but would there be any advantage to the 630 from the 340?
