I'm looking at purchasing an external stereo power amp to add onto my V2400. I don't ahve the cash for new equipment, so I've been looking at used or b-stock.
Does anyone know any reliable places to shop, brick-and-mortar stores or online that will deal with us poor disadvantaged Canadians? Maybe you fellow Northerners will know. It seems that unless something comes up by word of mouth, some of this stuff is hard to find. I guess what I'm looking at is decent gear, and most people don't want to get rid of it!

Audiogon.com is a sort of eBay for audiophiles. Seems to be well run. And actually, there seem to be a lot of 'philes who churn their gear regularly. Site has sellers & buyers world wide, even the frozen wastes of Canada, eh? Lots of good, late model stuff to be had there, including megabuck high-end gear. A friend of mine has dealt there with no problems.

And there's always eBay. As with any online auction site, caveat emptor. I got my Adcom GFA 545-II power amp on eBay.

This is the amp I would buy if budget is a high concern. This marantz amp is an absolute steal and is factory authorized through marantz for sale at this website. You can't go wrong! Price for performance, you can't touch this deal!
