I performed a short listening experiment, connected my iPhone 6s Plus to the USB port on my Yamaha RX-A1020 and listened to Dinah Washington's "Easy Living" from my iTunes collection. Then fired up the Bluetooth adapter (Harmon Kardon HK BTA 10), same tune. Other than having to max out the volume on the iPhone, and raise the volume on the RX-A1020 to same as I heard via USB, I could not discern any major difference. Just tryin' to keep my senior mind fresh and active!
