It does not recognize the pictures either on my thumb drive or on SD cards when inserted in card reader and intern into TV. I performed a 'cold boot' to TV but to no avail, thoughts / suggestions ???

Where I'm going with this is that it might something as simple as the formatting on the USB stick (FAT vs NFTS, etc). Reactions: TLS Guy

Click to expand... I suspect that this is a formatting issue also. I assume you have a computer. If so plug it into a USB port and select the USB drive and format it to MS DOT Fat 32. There should not be serious DRM issues with the USB input, but you never know. Has there been a recent software update to your TV? I do not plug my USB drives into the TV, as that is not handy. I usually plug them into my AVP or my HTPC or DAW. I don't use them much but I have had issues that they will play from one device and not another. There are any number of issues beyond our pay grades to foul you up!

This is the first time I've tried to view images on my Samsung TV. My TV in my 'man cave' is a old Panasonic plasma that still works perfectly and has a built SD card slot.
