Hi,

My Bose amplifier fried and looking for a different, cheaper amplifier brand to still get good sound out of my speakers (Budget around 1500 BHD). I have the following systems:

-Bose Freespace 3 Accoustic module (4 speakers + 2 subwoofers)
http://www.granteq.com/pdfs/bose/small-format/FreeSpace_3series1_1.pdf

-Bose Freespace DS 100SE (6 speakers)
https://assets.bose.com/content/dam/Bose_DAM/Web/pro/global/products/loudspeakers/FreeSpace_DS_100SE/Downloads/Technical_data_sheet/tds_fs_ds_100se_loudspeaker.pdf

Basically, I tried a few amps, but the volume is low and the sound is static.
What input do I need per channel? ( x Watts into x Ohms/Volts)?

I can use one amp to connect all, or 2 operate amps in sequence for both systems. Please Help as its for a restaurant currently without music!!

Pretty sure everyone here will tell yo the same thing. Use that 1500 bucks and start over. You can buy a nice system for that money that would be an upgrade from your Bose in every way. Bose also uses proprietary connections and it can be a little convoluted.

Don't bother. Everything Bose is proprietary, and never works properly with other gear.

Take all that lousy Bose gear to the recycling center, start again. Take the never Bose pledge.

He said BHD, which looks to be the Bahraini Dinar, and is about USD 3900. I'd get away from the Bose gear as it tends to not mix well with traditional components; yours looks to have a couple configurations possible, including 70V setup so think we need more information about the system setup. I have no idea what's available to you in Bahrain in general either.

I see now, and he said it's for a restaurant. Apologies. I'd still start over.

Sorry I meant USD - Its about 500 BHD. Thing is im in Bahrain and everything is extremely expensive. can't get a whole new, proper system for 1500 USD over here...and would like to still utilize my existing systems... all I need is an amp lol... never again Bose pledge reached tho..

Its also for only 3 months, after which my boss will close the current restaurant and start over completely (long story with legal issues)...

So what if I just buy cheap, used amplifiers from traditional brands to play with.. it won't screw my speakers I hope..
