URC MX-500 or URC RF-30 ??

looking at both the urc mx-500 and the newer rf-30. they are both about the same price. which one is the better performer?

unless you have the updateable base station the 30 will have newer equipment list and have to do less learning. The 500 will give more control flexibility.
