I just traded in my Paradigm V.3 Esprits fronts, CC-270 center, and PDR-12 Sub. My dealer gave me almost 90% of my original purchase price I paid 12 months ago towards my new stuff!! Now I have Monitor 7 fronts(V.4), CC-370 center(V.4), and a PW2200 Sub. My HT absolutely sounds fantastic now. I plan on re-visiting my dealer in another 6-12 months to do it all over again.

On a side note, I thought my house was going to collapse during the sequence in "I Robot" when Will Smith was surrounded in the tunnel while being attacked by the robots! That PW2200 sub pounds, and it's not even broken in yet.

Congrats!

I agree, mine will give 100% trade in for a year, you wont find that type of service at an online only company. Enjoy your new speakers....

Frist of all... congratulations on having a great dealer like that. There aren't too many around anymore, let alone any with generous trade in/up policies.

Don't however, be so quick to judge trade in/up policies of some of the "on-line" companies. I cant's speak for all of them, but AV123.com often runs specials where after upgrades and discounts, your "trade in" was worth at least what you paid originally if not more.....

There are some very good AND bad companies out there..... both B & M dealers as well as Internet direct.
