Upgrading Towers

Hey all,
Jbl has a huge sale going on right now and I was thinking about switching from my current Boston VR3 towers set up to the jbl studio 580 towers. I need help though. My main questions are would this be a very noticeable upgrade? And would I need a better receiver to get the most out of the speakers. I currently have a denon 1400h avr

If you wouldn’t suggest those jbls what would you suggest and please tell me if I’d need a different avr based on your tower recommendation
