Well.. if you like them, why do you need feedback? Maybe get a friend and do a blind comparison between your old and new. If you still prefer the Studios, make the jump.

I went from the PSB 2b's and matching center to the paradigm studio 60's and matching center. IMHO, i was very very pleased. the paradigm's blew the PSB's away. Now I don't think it's a fair comparison. The 2b would compete with the monitor line from paradigm. However I was very pleased with the results. BTW, I still use the 2b's as my rears.

I have the exact same mains and centre, v.4's. Very pleased, got them all off E-bay for around a 20% discount off store bought. Still looking into picking up the ADP-590's though. I also decided to go with the Velodyne DD-15 over the servo due to some of its features. I'm definently not dissappointed with the set so far, and I can't wait until I can scrounge up enough to throw down on the ADP-590's. I can play this system louder then I can handle with only my VSX-94TXH pioneer elite reciever, but I'm still going to move into the direction of a seperate amp in the future when I get the chance as well.

In retrospect however, I probably should have bided my time more and gone to a dealer and seen if I could have picked up the S6's instead for in around the same price range since I planned to supplement the bass all along. I got a chance to hear the S6's in person and I was quite impressed, though I never really had the chance to do any critical listening like I've done with my 100's.

Just some food for thought. I also just noticed Paradigm removed there MSRP for their products on the Canadian page, I'm not sure if that means they plan to leave that the way it is right now, or are looking at doing some price adjusting for the near future and haven't settled yet.

I agree that PSB's Image series would be equivalent to Paradigm's Monitor series and comparing the Image to the Studio's is a bit unfair. The problem with PSB is that they replaced their Stratus series (which I prefer over the Studio series) with the G1 series. I haven't yet hard the G1 series and I want to compare it to the Image series to see if its worth the extra coin. From 1st glance, teh G1 series looks like an over priced Image T55. I was so disappointed with PSB when they discontinued their Stratus line. That was one formidable series of speakers.

If you like them better than the PSBs and you have auditioned enough speakers to say "the paradigms are for me" then I say, go for it.

Just like everyone said already, if you've done some auditioning and you're pleased with the Paradigms, all is good.

we'll have very similar systems! i would LOVE to go for the Signature series but just too far out of budget, and hard to commit to buying such expensive matching centre, surrounds, etc in the future! not to mention you'de also have to invest in some decent separates to get into the potential of such high end speakers. so again just too far out of my price range.

i also noticed there isnt any MSRP's on the site anymore, i did actually get a little more than %20 off retail, hopefully they dont do a price drop AFTERWARDS! lol

i'm also looking forward to adding at least a 2 channel amp in the future, as impressive as the 100's are, i know they have even more to offer with some extra juice!

on a side note, i'm getting $1k for my PSB's, so they werent a total loss!

yeah, i certainly would have considered upgrading to higher end PSB's as i was never dissapointed with the quality, i just need something bigger to appease my music needs! honestly though aesthetics is big to me and i dont find any of the higher end PSB's all that attractive... IMO of course.

Its too bad the new Synchron line is priced so far north if you know what I mean. Easily the most attractive speaker PSB makes.

I meant to add this to my last post but forgot due to a work interuption..but if you feel the Studios offer better sound and are more pleasing to your eye, by all means, jump. Thats what its all about in the end, to get where ya wanna go ;)

right on. just didnt want to find out AFTER the fact that its common knowledge PSB are better quality than Paradigm, or whatever. i've only been training my ears for quality over the last couple years so still fairly new to the world of audiophilia (is that a word??) and i knew this would be the place to make sure before i actually drop $$$! but based on the feedback here and another site i frequent i've heard nothing but great things from many satisfied owners and custom installers.

thanks again for all the inputs gents!!

I've had the 100's for about a year and I am more than pleased. 2 channel amp is next!

i'm actually surprised from all the feedback i've gotten from people who actually own the exact speakers i'm buying. its good to know they're popular amongst people who know speakers!!

I have the full Studio .v4 Lineup.... 100's, CC-690, 20's, and single ADP powered by Rotel 200 x 5... Phenomenal, to say the least... Anyone who comes to my house is truly astounded with the sound quality, and blown away by the HT experience...

Everytime I fire it up, they still put a smile on my face... Can't say enough good stuff about them.. Make sure you power them well, if you listen to them loud.. Receiver will drive them fine, but at ref. levels, the extra power is demanded.

Good Luck
