Upgrading my front L/R speakers.

I currently have an Onkyo 809 receiver. It powers polk audio rt35i front left and rights, polk cs245i center, and polk rt25i surrounds. I also have a polk psw505 sub. I want to upgrade my front L/R speakers and then move the rt35i to surrounds and move the rt25i to rear surrounds. What would work well here? These are older models. I don't want to spend much money and I'd prefer not to replace my center speaker. Is there a newer polk speaker that will match with my center well or should I be looking on ebay and craigslist for an older set of rt55i. I'd like floor standing speakers for my front L/R so maybe rt800i? some input, thoughts, and recommendations would be great. I do about an equal mix of music and home theater....maybe 60/40 home theater.

I'm also considering the rt55i on stands in the front?

Just stick with the Polk Audio speakers, tower speakers.
RTI's have been getting good reviews.

I'd upgrade the front 3 speakers for the biggest improvement in sound. If you want to keep the center, that will be a limitation. If you want to stay Polk, I'd look at the RTiA line; maybe the RTiA3 or A6. IMO, they are an improvement over the older RT line.
