Upgrading Klipsch towers from Reference to Reference premier

Hello hive mind

currently I have a pair of current generation R800 towers paired with matching reference center (quad 3” model)

wanting to jump over to Reference Premier line:

either the same size towers the rp8000f-mk2
Or
Down size to the rp6000-mk2

and 504c mk2 center.

Powered by a pioneer elite 505 receiver.

on paper the low end of the 6.5” tower isn’t too much higher than the bigger 8” towers. And physical size of enclosure seems very close. Though I’m not a paper bench test kinda guy - rather prefer the sound output. I’m just curious if I’m gonna miss much low end punch if I go with the smaller 6.5”.

it’s not necessarily a money save issue. Rather I think the slightly smaller towers would look better in my setup.

I enjoy the reference 800’s I have now. But wanting a better center for dialogue… and I know this will sound stupid but — the RP series has a better pride of ownership thing imho. Especially since the lower level reference tower has a “cheap” feel to them. But again sound pretty darn good imho.

note used 95% for home theater use

If you're ok with how your current towers sound (not too bright or fatiguing) then just upgrade to a better center.
